ENT specialists differ from other physicians in that they are trained in medicine and surgery. ENT doctors, also known as Otolaryngologists, also provide the best ear, nose and throat care for each patient. ENT specialists perform surgery for common ENT problems but also for head, neck, thyroid and parathyroid tumors, as well as cosmetic facial surgeries, including rhinoplasty (nose), otoplasty (external ear), scar revision, eyelid rejuvenation, and laser resurfacing.
Surgical ENT procedures are typically done in a hospital – on an outpatient basis – but many procedures can be done in the comfort and convenience of our office.
Our ENT practice also addresses hearing loss and balance and we dispense and fit hearing aids through our affiliated practice, Sierra Nevada Hearing Aid Center.
